NASCAR's month-long Race to Green initiative resulted in more than 150,000 trees planted across the country in April, the Daytona Beach-based racing company announced May 2. The initiative was one of two new sustainability efforts NASCAR launched last month.

Race to Green asks teams, tracks, drivers, official NASCAR partners and fans to donate trees to areas recently devastated by natural disasters.
